In a recent post by one of my dear friends named Allyn Hane, wrote that he believes the corporate giant Hansen Natural Corporation is trying to destroy the small time beer vendor Rock Art Brewery by claiming infringement of trademark in the use of the name Vermonster as in one of their signature beers. For those of you who are not NASDAQ literate, Hansen Natural Corporation is the parent company for Monster Energy Drink.

Energy drinks are soft drinks advertised as providing energy to improve physical activity of the drinker, as compared to a typical drink. Rather than providing food, energy drinks are designed to increase a user’s mental alertness and physical performance by the addition of caffeine, vitamins, and herbal supplements which may interact to provide a stimulant effect over and above that obtained from caffeine alone.

The daily ‘life’ of smokers is almost always the same.

I started smoking back in 1985. I can still remember my first pack of cigarettes, it lasted about a week. I remember that I kept it in the glove compartment of my car. What a fool. Nowadays I carry my cigarette pack everywhere. Like a heavy chain wrapped around my neck. Twenty-four years later, I confess, I’ve been carrying around, without strength, a sinister companion, my toxic habit: smoking.

The Senate Bill 773 (S. 773) will give the President of the United States of America the power to pronounce a “cyber emergency” therefore will empower the government to disconnect users from the internet. Not only that. The S. 773 also will require that professional IT individuals be certified by the federal government.

The alleged sponsors of this bill are Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) actual member of the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and Senator Olympia Jean Snowe McKernan (R-ME) also known as ˜RINO” (Republican in Name Only).

This bill is believed to be the attack of the Obama administration to those who don’t approve of their policies. The internet and news talk radio are the target of this administration.

In a recent White House conference President Obama announced the appointment of a cyber security coordinator also known as the Cyber Czar, who will have the responsibility of taking care of the critical infrastructure in which all Americans depend on. “We will ensure that these networks are secure, trustworthy and resilient,” he said. “We will deter, prevent, detect and defend against attacks, and recover quickly from any disruptions or damage.”
